My prayers and condolences are for the families and victims of the Georgia School Shooting that occurred yesterday 9/4/2024. 

However this shooting shows the sharp difference between myself and my opponent Barbara Kirkmeyer who had (4) years to draft legislation to protect our children in schools and prevent this mass tragedy from happening, here in Colorado, However Barbara Kirkmeyer FAILED her constituents by IGNORING This issue. However I am committed to protecting our children and grandchildren in schools and I will not FAIL you my constituents because I will STAND and DELIVER a legislation package to create the State School Protection Force so that Colorado will NOT HAVE ANOTHER COLUMBINE INCIDENT AGAIN! But in order to do this I need all Democrats and All Independents to VOTE FOR ME BY WRITING IN MY NAME ON THE SLOT on your ballot! BECAUSE BARBARA KIRKMEYER WILL NOT DELIVER THIS LEGISLATION TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN IN SCHOOLS. SHE HAD (4) YEARS TO GET THIS DONE AND SHE WAS MORE CONCERNED WITH CLIMBING HER POLITICAL LADDER THAN PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN IN SCHOOLS. HELP ME PUT A STOP TO HER POLITICAL LADDER CLIMB BY VOTING FOR ME WHEN YOU WRITE IN MY NAME JOSEPH BOBKO ON THE SLOT ON YOUR BALLOT.

. Lower your property taxes!, By Drafting legislation to collect a Sliding scale impact fee imposed on the new home developers for every new home sold. FURTHERMORE the State of Colorado needs to be in charge of determining the amount of property taxes and my legislation would impose a cap on property taxes. Again Barbara Kirkmeyer has failed her constituentse by not delivering legislation to lower your property taxes. She has only legislated a temporary tax cut 

. Hire more police officers and first responders with substantial pay increases because they keep us safe!

. Drafting legislation to eliminate the taxation of Social Security, retirement, benefits, and Social Security disability benefits. AGAIN BARBARA KIRKMEYER HAS FAILED HER CONSTITUENTS BY NOT DELIVERING THIS LEGISLATION TO ELIMINATE THE TAXATION OF YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS! HOWEVER I WILL STAND AND DELIVER this legislation to ELIMINATE THE TAXATION OF YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS BUT IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO GET THIS DONE I NEED YOU TO VOTE FOR ME BY WRITING IN MY NAME JOSEPH BOBKO ON THE SLOT ON YOUR BALLOT!
. Protecting the sanctity of a woman's right for reproductive medical care!

Drafting legislation to increase the minimum wage to a living wage standard because Colorado's minimum wage is too low especially for anyone who works in the food service industry and receives tips. To many people are having to work 2 jobs in order to pay their bills!  BARBARA KIRKMEYER HAD (4) YEARS TO DO THIS BUT SHE FAILED YOU HER CONSTITUENTS BY NOT DOING THIS. BARBARA KIRKMEYER IS FINANCED BY BIG CORPORATIONS AND SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT FAMILIES LIKE YOURS WHO ARE STRUGGLING BECAUSE OF LOW WAGES. HOWEVER I JOSEPH BOBKO WILL HAVE YOUR BACK AND I JOSEPH BOBKO WILL STAND UP FOR YOU AND I WILL DRAFT LEGISLATION TO INCREASE YOUR WAGES, BUT YOU NEED TO VOTE FOR ME BY WRITING IN MY NAME JOSEPH BOBKO ON THE SLOT ON YOUR BALLOT.

Furthermore as your Senator I Joseph Bobko will draft legislation to lower the prices of food by imposing controlled limits on food prices. BARBARA KIRKMEYER HAD (4) YEARS TO DO THIS BUT SHE IS FINANCED IS FINANCED BY BIG CORPORATIONS SO SHE FAILED HER CONSTITUENTS AGAIN BY NOT ACTING TO CREATE LEGISLATION TO IMPOSE CAPS ON FOOD PRICES AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS. IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO HELP YOU I NEED YOU TO VOTE FOR ME SO THAT I CAN BE ABLE TO SUBMIT THIS NEEDED LEGISLATION TO LOWER THE COST OF FOOD PRICES. SO YOU NEED TO WRITE IN MY NAME JOSEPH BOBKO WHEN YOU CAST YOUR BALLOT! BECAUSE I WILL NOT FAIL YOU AS I WILL DRAFT LEGISLATION TO LOWER THE COST OF FOOD PRICES AND STOP PRICE GOUGING!

As well as I Joseph Bobko will draft legislation to impose an impact tax on Amazon. This impact tax will be used to develop a permanent solution for the Homeless crisis by purchasing empty warehouses and building them into Transitional Housing Centers. The homeless persons who are addicted to drugs or alcohol will be treated and detoxed  The able bodied people who are homeless will be transitioned to being employed. BARBARA KIRKMEYER HAS IGNORED THE HOMELESS CRISIS FOR (4) YEARS HOWEVER I JOSEPH BOBKO WILL STAND AND DELIVER A LEGISLATION PACKAGE TO GET CONTROL OF THE HOMELESS CRISIS, BUT BARBARA KIRKMEYER WILL NOT 

But we need to ask ourselves why didn't Barbara Kirkmeyer even try to address the homeless crisis?

Now let's talk about my opponent Barbara Kirkmeyer who during her 4 years as the Senator for District 23 spent one year campaigning for Congress however she lost. But let's talk about what she didn't do:

She did not vote to protect a woman's right for reproductive health care .

She didn't draft legislation to lower the cost of food.

She didn't draft legislation to protect your children in school. Even though we see on television that school shootings are on the rise!

She didn't draft legislation to stop the taxation on Social Security Benefits.

She didn't draft legislation to increase the minimum wage to a living wage standard. 

She did nothing to help the homeless crisis in Colorado. 

The newspaper in Berthoud said that Kirkmeyer is heavily favored to win the election, but how can you vote for her based on what she didn't do. What she did not do is to perform for her constituents! We can not allow her to win her senate seat based solely on the fact that she is the incumbent. 

I am asking for all Democrats and Independents to please vote for me because I am committed to be the Senator of change as I have outlined above. There are over 32,000 Constituents Democrats and Independents in Senate District 23 and I am asking all of them to support me and cast their votes for me by Writing in my name Joseph Bobko when you cast your ballot.
